Air Force Defeats Trinity and CSU-Pueblo Saturday

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's tennis swept a pair of matches on Saturday at the USAFA Indoor Tennis Courts. The Falcons defeated both Trinity University (Texas) and CSU-Pueblo by 7-0 scores.

In the morning match, Air Force rolled to a 7-0 win over Trinity.

The Falcons started out by sweeping the doubles competition. Vivian Glozman and Karina Chao won at No. 1, 7-5. Sydney Fitch and Isabella Flodin won at No. 2, 6-2. Hailey Stelse and Alex Kuo won at No. 3, 6-3.

In singles, the Falcons swept the competition as well, winning five of six in straight sets. Glozman won at No. 1, 6-1, 6-0. Fitch won at No. 2, 6-0, 6-0. Chao won at No. 3, 6-1, 6-4. Alexis Odom rallied back at No. 4 to win in three sets, 3-6, 6-1, 10-3. Andrea Le won at No. 5, 6-2, 6-4. Flodin won at No. 6, 6-1, 6-1.

In the afternoon match, the Falcons also won 7-0.

The Falcons won all three doubles matches by 6-1 scores. Glozman and Chao won at No. 1, Flodin and Fitch won at No. 2 and Stelse and Kuo won at No. 3.

In singles, Air Force won every match in straight sets. Odom won at No. 1, 6-1, 6-0. Chao won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-0. Le won at No. 3, 6-0, 6-0. Kuo won at No. 4, 6-1, 6-1. Flodin won at No. 5, 6-0, 6-2. Maddie Dibble won at No. 6, 6-2, 6-0.

The wins lift Air Force to 10-1 on the season.

The Falcons return to action tomorrow at Denver. The match begins at 4 pm.
