Air Force Falls at Utah Valley, 0-2

OREM, Utah – Air Force fell two-nil against Utah Valley in a Western Athletic Conference road match, Thursday evening, at Clyde Field. The Falcons drop to 0-12-1, 0-4 WAC while the Wolverines improve to 2-6-4 overall with their first win in league action (1-2-1 WAC).
Utah Valley's strikes both came in the first half as Ura Miura notched the first goal (13') via touch from Owen Knecht. Just under 10 minutes later (23'), Knecht followed up with a goal of his own in an unassisted attack.
The Falcons struggled to find an offensive rhythm, taking just three shots in the match, one of which was on goal. Shots were credited to Remi Smith, Ryan Daunt and Luke Hill. Utah Valley took 10 shots in the match, three on target.
AF keeper Jakob Stone logged two saves in the defensive effort while UVU counterpart Parker Allen was credited with one save in his first win this season.
Next up, Air Force travels to St. George, Utah, to take on Utah Tech. The Falcons and Trailblazers will be meeting for the fourth time in program history with Air Force holding all three victories in the series. Utah Tech has yet to score a goal against the Falcons.
