Huntington leads Falcons in final round in Maui

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Freshman Eli Huntington shot a career-best 69 to lead the Falcons in the final round of the Ka'anapali Classic, Saturday, Oct. 28, in Maui.
Huntington posted the first round in the 60's by a Falcon this season, shooting a 32 on the front side with six birdies. Freshman Carson Baker matched his career-best round with a 73 (+2), the same score he shot in round two. Junior Cameron Kahle shot 74, followed by Alvaro Fonseca (77) and Christopher Park (78). Sophomore Ted Davenport, playing as an individual, shot 75.
East Tennessee State, ranked 17th, and Oklahoma, ranked 18th, tied for the team title with a 810 (-42). Air Force placed 20th at 879 (+27). The Falcons' 879 team score over 54 holes is the best of the season.
Air Force is now idle until the Loyola Intercollegiate, Feb. 25-27, in Goodyear, Ariz.
