Series vs. Mercyhurst
Air Force leads the all-time series with Mercyhurst, 27-19-5. The series began in 2007 with the teams both being members of Atlantic Hockey. AF is 8-4-2 against the Lakers in the last 14 games. In games played in Erie, the Falcons are 12-9-3 against the Lakers. Mercyhurst has won four of the last six in Erie. Last season, the teams split the series with Mercyhurst sweeping in Erie and the Falcons sweeping in Colorado.

About the Lakers
Mercyhurst is 2-5-2 overall this season and 1-1-2 in the AHA. In the non-conference, Mercyhurst has a pair of losses to No. 17 Notre Dame, Ohio State and a split with Bowling Green. Last weekend, the Lakers split with No. 20 RIT, in Rochester, with a 2-0 win in game two. Phillip Waugh leads the team with four goals and seven points. Freshman goalie Simon Bucheler made 51 saves in the win at RIT. He has two starts on the season with a 1.98 GAA and a .951 saves percentage.
