About the Griffs
Canisius is 3-7-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the AHA. The Griffs were swept at Miami (2-4 and 1-4) and Michigan State (3-6 and 4-6). Canisius opened conference play by taking four points at home against Holy Cross. The Griffs split at Army last weekend and then defeated Robert Morris, 5-1, at home on Tuesday (Nov. 21). Freshman Matteo Giampa leads the team with eight goals and 14 points. He had two goals Tuesday against RMU. Freshman Ethan Robertson (.894 / 3.68) and senior David Fessenden (.897 / 3.21) have split time in the crease.
