Eleven Falcons put up a season-best 22 goals led by Brandon Dodd's six-goal performance. Dodd put up 10 points on the day, setting a personal career high points mark while equaling his career-best single game assists number (4). Mike Crampton (2014) is the only one other Falcon in program history that has put up 10 points or more (11) in a single game.
The Air Force defense was in stellar form, holding UDM to just four goals in the first half and a scoreless third quarter. AF caused 10 of Detroit Mercy's 18 turnovers— Dodd and Tommy Hellman led the team with two CTOs apiece. Jason Rose was impressive in goal, making eight saves in 45 minutes of action.
