Riding a three-match win streak which includes wins against both the 2022 Mountain West Tournament and regular-season champions, the Air Force women's tennis team returns to USAFA for its final two home matches of the 2023 dual season.
The Falcons are set to host Boise State and Utah State on Friday and Saturday, respectively, with both matches slated for a 2 p.m. first serve.
Prior to the start of Saturday's match, the program will be recognizing their two 2023 graduates - Sydney Fitch and Courtney Swift - for their athletic, academic, and military achievements as cadets of the United States Air Force Academy.
Falcons at a Glance:
Air Force, currently tied for third place in the Mountain West Standings, seeks its fourth and fifth-consecutive wins this weekend.
The Falcons currently remain undefeated in dual doubles competition against Mountain West opponents at 4-0, with competing pairs a combined 25-12 this spring. Court one duo Sydney Fitch/Alexis Odom is 9-2, riding a four-match win streak; Line two pairing Isabella Flodin/Abby Cotuna follow up at 8-3, coming off a doubles-clinching victory against No. 58 Fresno State.
In singles, reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Week Cotuna and Arianna Van Houweling (courts five and six) both currently lead the race in singles competition with three-straight wins. Van Houweling sits at 10-3, with all ten victories having been earned in straight sets.

The Falcons closed last weekend in Albuquerque with a 4-3 victory over reigning MW regular-season champion, No. 58 Fresno State.
Air Force's victory opened with the Falcons' fourth-straight-earned doubles point and twelfth of the season.
The Falcons' court one pairing of Sydney Fitch/Alexis Odom earned a 7-5 win against Fresno's Pang Jittakoat/Matilde Magrini, earning their fourth-straight doubles win and improving to 9-2.
On line two, Air Force's Isabella Flodin/Abby Cotuna improved to 8-2 after defeating Christina Flaquer/Mariya Vyshkina 6-4, snapping a two-match skid.
Singles competition was once again dominated by the back half of the Falcons' lineup, as freshmen Abby Cotuna/Arianna Van Houweling both earned straight-set victories on lines five and six.
On court six, Arianna Van Houweling won her second singles match of the weekend, defeating Leann Serna, 6-3, 6-0 to claim her tenth win of the season - all ten of which have been earned in straight sets.
It was junior Isabella Flodin on court two who clinched the team win for the Falcons, going three sets with Fresno State's Matilde Magrini and taking the third 6-4 after trailing to clinch the 4-3 team victory.
