
Volleyball Welcomes Five Talented Newcomers to Program

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force volleyball team added five impressive freshmen to its roster for the upcoming season, the coaching staff announced this week, as the Class of 2027 arrived at the Academy for in-processing and the start of their four-year playing career at the Academy.
The Falcons' incoming class of freshmen features defensive specialist Sophia Dasilva (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca HS), outside hitter Lauren Klingenberg (Winter Springs, Fla./Winter Springs HS), opposite Anna Leahy (Charlotte, N.C./Myers Park HS), defensive specialist Rory Powers (Muncie, Ind./Yorktown HS), and outside hitter Annamaria Ramos (Henderson, Nev./Basic Academy of International Studies).

Each athlete brings a unique set of skills and attributes that will greatly contribute to the team's success."
Richardson on Dasilva:
"Known for her remarkable ball control and instinctive anticipation, Sophia is a true defensive powerhouse. Her work ethic and infectious positivity will undoubtedly improve the level in our gym."
Richardson on Klingenberg:
"With her explosive power and versatility, Lauren dominates the court in every position she plays. Her ability to seamlessly transition from offense to defense, coupled with her remarkable offensive awareness, sets her apart."
Richardson on Leahy:
