THIS WEEKEND

Following the match against the Titans, the Falcons head to San Luis Obispo to take on Cal Poly on Sunday (Sept. 17). Action is slated for 7:30 p.m. PT and 3 p.m. PT, respectively.
THE SERIES
Fullerton leads Air Force in the all-time series, 5-4-2. The last time the teams played was at USAFA on September 10, 2021—the Falcons and Titans played to a draw at three. Prior to that AF lost the last four against Fullerton.
Cal Poly leads the all-time series, 3-2-1. Air Force won the last meeting, 1-0, in Albuquerque on September 2, 2016. The Mustangs are undefeated at home to Air Force in three all-time matchups, prevailing in the last meeting at Mustang Memorial Field on Sept. 11, 2015, 1-0.
UP NEXT
The Falcons return home to close out the non-conference slate against San Francisco, Saturday, September 23 at Cadet Soccer Stadium. Action is slated for 6 p.m. MT.
LAST TIME OUT
Air Force dropped a pair of home matches over the weekend, falling against Central Arkansas, 2-1, and taking a setback to UC San Diego, 2-0. Freshman Aidan Grubbs notched the only goal for AF on the weekend—it was the first of his career.
KING OF THE HILL
Air Force senior team captain Luke Hill leads the Falcons with three goals this season. Hill scored two goals via PK and one via touches from Remi Smith and Thaddaeus Dewing. Hill's three goals are a personal high for single season goals. He has eight career goals.
NO BIG DEAL
Air Force is off to a bumpy start in 2023; however, in 2021 the Falcons got off to an 0-3 start and ultimately battled to a WAC tournament berth. Last season (2022), the Falcons were winless in their first six matches but turned it around with seven-straight wins and another WAC tournament berth.
