* Sophomore Brendan Gibbons leads the team with five goals and is tied for second on the team with nine points. His six-game point streak, the longest of his career and longest by a Falcon this season, ended, Nov. 10. He has two extra-attacker goals this season to force overtime.
* Air Force's top line (LW Nick Remissong, C Clayton Cosentino and RW Brendan Gibbons), played together for the first time on Nov. 1. The line has accounted for four of the team's last seven goals over the last four games

Scouting the Lakers
Mercyhurst is 2-10-0 overall and 2-6-0 in the AHA and tied for 10th place with five points. After getting swept by Bowling Green to open the season, the Lakers split with RIT in Erie. In early November, Mercyhurst split with first-place Niagara, winning game two, 4-3, in Erie. Mikey Burns and Dustin Geregach are tied for the team lead with 10 points each. Burns leads the team with five goals. Sophomore Simon Bucheler has started nine of the 12 games in goal and has a 3.65 GAA and a .900 saves percentage.

Air Force leads the all-time series with Mercyhurst, 28-20-5. The series began in 2007 with the teams both being members of Atlantic Hockey. Air Force has won three of the last four in the series. The teams split a series last season in Erie. The Falcons swept the last series at the Cadet Ice Arena, 4-3 ot and 4-2, Feb. 3-4, 2023. Air Force and Mercyhurst have only played two games at USAFA since the 2020 playoff series. Air Force has won five straight over Mercyhurst at home and is 5-0-1 in the last six at Cadet Ice Arena.
