Embarking on its first interstate road swing of the 2024 dual season, the Air Force women's tennis team heads to Florida to take on a trio of opponents on a weekend highlighted by the Falcons' return to College MatchDay on Saturday, hosted at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.

The Falcons, opening the weekend in the program's first-ever match against FGCU, face off against an opponent seeking its second dual win of 2024. FGCU enters Friday's contest with an 8-21 combined singles record and 5-9 in doubles play. The 2022-23 Eagles played to a 16-7 record, playing to an ASUN semifinals berth.

The Falcons head from Fort Myers up to Orlando on Saturday, facing off against Army in the Falcons' fourth appearance at the USTA College MatchDay and its third contest against West Point in the event.
At 7-4, the Golden Knights, after winning six straight at home, look to right the ship at USTA after falling in two of their last three.

Air Force returns to Fort Myers on Sunday to face South Alabama in their first match against a Sun Belt opponent since 2015. The 3-1 Jaguars closed 2023 with an 18-6 record in match play and currently combine for 18-3 in dual singles and 7-3 in doubles. The top four in the Jaguars' singles lineup all sport a 3-1 record or better, with leadoff sophomore Tereza Dejnozkova currently undefeated at 3-0.
