Hoopes and Braunton to Compete at USAG Winter Cup

REPRESENTING AIR FORCE
Air Force top performers senior Garrett Braunton and junior Patrick Hoopes will represent the Academy in the event. Braunton is one of the leading all-arounders in the nation with a high mark of 79.300 and a three-score average of 78.500. Hoopes is one of the nation's top pommel horse specialists, averaging 14.683 in the event with a high of 15.200—an Academy record.

ABOUT
The 2024 Winter Cup is a qualifying event to the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships. The Winter Cup will also culminate in the selection of the Men's Senior National Team to be named following the competition.

LIVE STREAMING
Nastia Liukin Cup, Elite Team Cup and Winter Cup competition will stream exclusively on USA Gymnastics' YouTube channel. Podium training for all groups will be available on FlipNow.tv with a yearly or pay-per-view subscription.

Samantha Peszek & John Roethlisberger will provide live commentary for the senior sessions (Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET, Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ET and Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET)

The Falcons return to action as a team against Cal-Berkeley, Nebraska, and Stanford, March 3. The event will be hosted by Cal in Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, California, at noon PT, on Sunday.
