Air Force Men’s Tennis Falls To Idaho State, 4-3

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis dropped a 4-3 contest to Idaho State Friday night at the USAFA Indoor Tennis Courts.

Air Force opened by taking the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles. After Idaho State won at No. 3, the Falcons rallied with consecutive doubles wins. Nick Vroman and Kyle Garner won at No. 1 over Sklenka/De Pellegrin 7-5. The Falcons clinched the doubles point as Arjun Kersten and Jack Brown won at No. 2 over Kristensen/Kramer 7-6 (8-6).

In singles, Idaho State rallied back by winning four of six.

The Falcons took a 2-0 lead after AJ Moore won at No. 4 in straight sets over Patrick Kristensen 6-3, 6-4.

Idaho State tied it up after wins at No. 3 and then No. 2. The Falcons went back up 3-2 as Deaton won at No. 1 over Victor Sklenka 6-3, 4-6, 7-5. The Bengals rallied with wins at No. 6 and 5 to take the win away from the Falcons.

Air Force looks to rebound Sunday against North Dakota. Competition begins at 10 am.
