
Jack Griffith To Compete at International Fencing Federation Foil Grand Prix

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Sophomore Jack Griffith, a member of the Air Force Academy fencing team, has been selected as one of 20 United States representatives to compete at the 2024 Absolute Fencing Gear FIE Grand Prix in Washington, DC, from March 15-17. The event features many of the top foil fencers in the world, including several 2024 Paris Olympic hopefuls on the US team.
Griffith recently won the NCAA West Regional and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's foil titles for the second-straight season. Griffith went undefeated on the weekend, including a 14-0 run in pools Saturday at the NCAA Regional.
The men will fence a pool round, followed by a direct elimination bracket to the top 64 on Saturday, March 16 and the direct elimination table of 64 will finish on Sunday, March 17.
Competition takes place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
