Round 2 results

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Junior Cameron Kahle led the Air Force golf team in the second round of the El Macero Classic, Saturday, April 13, at the El Macero Golf Club in El Macero, Calif.

Kahle made a pair of birdies en route to a second-round score of 74 (+2). Sophomore Alvaro Fonseca also made a pair of birdies for a 78 and freshman Carson Baker shot 79. Junior Christopher Park shot 81 and freshman Eli Huntington shot 89.

Sophomore Brooks Morrell, competing as an individual, shot a 75 (+3) in round two and is tied for 30^th overall at 152. Kahle's 36-hole total of 154 is tied for 43^rd overall. Fonseca is at 155, followed by Baker (159), Huntington (164) and Park (165).

St. Mary's leads the field at 593. CSU Northridge is second (594) and Grand Canyon is third (596). Air Force shot a 312 for the second straight day and is in 15^th place with a 624.

The final round begins at 8:30 am PT on Sunday, April 14 in El Macero, Calif.
