Air Force women's tennis sets its sights on Las Vegas, as the Falcons open the 2024 post season on Wednesday, facing No. 6 Colorado State at the Darling Tennis Center in the opening round of the 2024 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championships at 11 a.m. MT.
Air Force, the 11 seed in this year's bracket, plays CSU on Wednesday to advance into the tournament quarterfinal, where three-seed Wyoming awaits.

In match play, Air Force combines for 10 doubles and 20 singles victories. Sporting four wins, duo Nadia Kojonroj/Alexis Odom lead the Falcons in doubles victories. Kojonroj leads the pack in singles wins at 7-5.
CSU at a Glance:
Six-seed Colorado State (9-11, 5-5 MW) enters the tournament with a .500 team record in its last four regular-season matches, most recently falling 4-2 to Wyoming in Fort Collins. The Rams are 53-49 in doubles and 44-54 in singles action. Air Force opened Mountain West play on March 15 hosting CSU and fell, 5-2.

In the 2023 Championship series, The Falcons (12-12, 6-4 MW) knocked off both reigning regular-season and conference tournament champions on the way to the program's first-ever appearance in the title round of the Mountain West Championships, in which the Falcons fell to UNLV, 4-1.

The Air Force women's tennis team closed its 2024 dual regular season on Friday, hosting New Mexico in the Cadet Gym. Air Force fell, 4-0, to the Lobos in a competitive contest.
After ceding the doubles point, Air Force put up a substantial effort in singles play and took eventual Mountain West regular season champion UNM to three sets on three separate courts in singles. Arianna Van Houweling, facing 15-7 Lobo senior Katherine Jhang, dispatched of Jhang in their first set, 6-1, and led 3-1 in the second before eventually falling 6-3 and dropping a 7-4 tiebreak in the third. A fired-up Flodin, competing with 19-win Maud Vandeputte, split the opening two sets with her Lobo opponent and led 5-4 in the third. Vandeputte, down 30-0 in back-to-back games, came back to tie the set and take a late lead, before taking the deciding game, winning 7-5 and clinching the regular-season title for New Mexico.
