U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – First-year head coach Stacy McIntyre rounded out her coaching roster ahead of the 2024-25 season, announcing the addition of Xojian Harry as assistant coach to her inaugural staff on Monday.
"I am so excited to be part of the Academy," Harry said. "I am grateful to Coach McIntyre for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity. I look forward to working with the staff to develop future leaders in our military while using basketball as a vehicle to develop team chemistry, cohesion, and discipline. Go Falcons!"
"Xojian brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the game that will undoubtedly elevate our program," said McIntyre of the Falcons' newest member. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Air Force women's basketball coaching staff and look forward to the positive impact she will make both on and off the court."
Most recently, Harry served two seasons as assistant coach at Utah Valley (2022-24) under head coach Dan Nielson. While there, Harry was most notably involved in development of guards/posts, recruiting and scouting/opponent preparation. In those two years, Utah Valley improved upon its season tally by four wins, including an overtime victory over eventual WAC champion California Baptist (92-89, Feb. 15).
Prior to her tenure in Orem, Harry acted as Director of Operations for alma mater BYU in 2021-22, where she carried out logistical duties for the Cougars' program, while serving as coordinator for summer camp programs and acting as academic liaison for a team which finished the season with three Academic All-WCC honorees.
From 2011-15, Harry played at guard for BYU and was part of a stretch which culminated in two WCC championships (2012, 2015), three NCAA Tournament appearances and one Sweet 16 run in 2014 in which the Cougars defeated NC State (72-57) and Nebraska (80-76), with Harry coming off the bench for 14 points combined in the Cougars' tournament run. During her playing career, Harry served as a captain for the Cougars in her senior season, was a three-time WCC Commissioner's Bronze Honor Roll for Academics honoree and the Leona Holbrook Spirit of Sport "Y Award" recipient in her final year. Utah Valley's Nielson, a former assistant at BYU, was on the Cougars' staff during the final two years of Harry's BYU playing career.
