Air Force Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Non-Conference Slate

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force Men's Basketball released its 2024-25 non-conference schedule, announced today by head coach Joe Scott. The Falcons play six of its 11 non-conference games at home in Clune Arena. The slate features two 20-win opponents, an ACC team and a 19-win Northern Colorado team that saw postseason action in 2023-24.
"We have assembled a challenging non-conference schedule, facing established programs with winning traditions," Scott said. "These opponents will raise our competitive level and prepare us for the Mountain West conference".
Air Force opens with four straight at home, beginning Nov. 4 against North Alabama. This four-game stretch is highlighted by a Nov. 15 matchup with perennial winner Belmont. The Bruins are coming off a 20-win season in 2023-24 and have strung together 14 consecutive 20-win seasons and seven conference championships in the past decade.
The highlight of the Falcons' five non-conference road games comes on Nov. 21, when they face former Pac-12 and current ACC member Cal at the Cal Classic. Two games in the state of Ohio await next as Air Force takes on Wright State on Nov. 30. The Raiders have secured three Horizon League Championships in the past five years, with an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022. Two days later, the Falcons face MAC foe Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
A Dec. 7 neutral-site contest against Stony Brook will take place in Texas--the home state of seven current Falcon players--at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, as part of the Legends Showcase. Stony Brook is coming off a 20-win season and a runner-up finish in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).
The Falcons begin the 20-game Mountain West schedule in late December. The full MW schedule will be announced at a later date by the conference office.
