Perry Named Preseason All-Mountain West Honoree

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Senior guard Milahnie Perry of Air Force Women's Basketball was named a Preseason All-Mountain West selection, the league announced on Wednesday.
Ahead of the 2025-26 season Perry is one of 10 top players around the 12-team Mountain West to earn a preseason all-conference nod and is only one of two honorees to have earned a spot on the list more than once in their Mountain West playing careers (Natalie Pasco, Boise State – 2024-25).
Perry, the top returning scorer in the Mountain West from the previous season, averaged 15.7 ppg in 2024-25. The now senior and Falcon team captain closed last season second in field goals made among MW competitors (200), second only to Mountain West Player of the Year Alyson Fertig (Wyoming). Perry scored 20 or more points eight times in 2024-25 with Air Force finishing 6-2 in those games. Perry sports the third best field goal percentage among MW returners this season (.418) and was one of two Falcons (Madison Smith) with a double-digit scoring average on an Air Force roster which scored its most points ever and most field goals in a single season.
Statistically one of the best players to ever represent the Air Force Academy, Perry is currently 10th on Air Force's all-time scoring leader board (1,260 career points) and is 174 points removed from the top spot. In consecutive seasons, Perry has scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Air Force Women's Basketball opens the 2025-26 season in Clune Arena on Oct. 29, hosting Colorado College in exhibition at 6:30 p.m. MT. The Falcons' first counted contest is on Nov. 3 at Denver.
