Utah Valley Takes Air Force Down, 2-1

OREM – Following a lightning delay at UCCU Stadium, Utah Valley beat Air Force in Western Athletic Conference action, 2-1, Thursday evening. The Falcons dropped to 1-8-2 (0-2 WAC) while the Wolverines improved to 7-1-1 (1-1 WAC).
UVU struck early with a goal from Isaac Emojong (6') with help from Nil Grau and Jose Montealegre. Air Force scored an equalizer after a two-hour lightning delay as Attila Toth assisted Oliver Becker (34') for his first goal this season. In the 77th minute, Nil Grau scored the eventual game-winner via penalty kick.
In his first career showing, AF keeper Caydence Robinson made five saves while the Falcons conceded 29 shooting opportunities to the Wolverines.
The Falcons return to action this Sunday (Oct. 12) at Utah Tech. Action in St. George is slated for 11 am MT.
