Grand Canyon is currently 16-9 on the year and 8-6 in conference action. The Lopes split a pair of five-set matches with San Diego State (loss) and UNLV (win) at home last weekend. As a team, GCU leads the league in digs (15.36) and blocks (2.96), while Aubrey Bellus is the conference's individual in stops with a 1.65 per-set average. New Mexico, which will play at Nevada on Thursday, is 11-14 overall and holds a 3-11 record in the Mountain West.
