Series vs. Sacred Heart
Air Force and Sacred Heart have played 63 games and the Falcons hold a 32-24-7 lead in the series that began in 2000. The teams played five times last season, all at Sacred Heart. The teams split a regular season series and then SHU won the deciding third game in an AHA quarterfinal series. In the last six games, each team has won three. Twelve of the last 17, have been decided by two goals or less with three going into overtime. In all games played at SHU, the series is deadlocked at 12-12-4. Air Force is 3-4-0 vs. SHU at Martire Family Arena.

Scouting the Pioneers
Sacred Heart is 3-3-1 overall this season and 2-1-1 in the AHA. The Pioneers are coming off of a 5-2 loss and a 2-2 overtime tie (SoL) at Holy Cross last weekend. SHU swept RIT, Oct. 10-11 in Rochester and split with No. 14 Ohio State in Columbus, earning a 2-1 overtime victory in game one. Felix Trudeau leads the team with four goals and seven points. Sophomore goalie Ajeet Gundarah has started six of the seven games and has a 1.81 GAA and a .935 saves percentage. He is third in the AHA in both GAA and saves percentage. Among goalies with more than three games played, he is 10th in the nation in GAA and eighth in saves percentage.
