
Women’s Basketball Opens MW Play at Utah State

With momentum at its back, Air Force Women's Basketball carries a three-game win streak into the start of Mountain West play, facing Utah State in its conference debut on Wednesday evening at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah.
Air Force (6-4, 0-0 MW) scoring is led by senior Milahnie Perry (17.6) and junior Jordyn Devaughn (9.0). The Falcons currently rank second in the Mountain West in offensive rebounding (13.1 rpg) and third in both steals per game (10.6) and turnovers forced per game (19.3). Perry's 17.6 scoring average (63rd nationally) paces all MW competitors to date.
Last Time Out:
The Falcons, hosting RMAC opponent New Mexico Highlands for the first time in over 22 years, picked up a 65-64 win over the Cowgirls that required heroics on the part of Air Force in order to come out on top. NMHU led by as much as nine points in the fourth quarter, but a late Falcon rally spearheaded by junior Jayda McNabb and New Mexico native Bhret Clay provided the boost needed to overcome the opposition.
Four Falcons posted double-digit scoring on the day, led by junior Jordyn Devaughn's 16; Senior Milahnie Perry finished with 13 points; Clay closed the game scoring 12, her fourth 10-plus point finish this season; McNabb posted an 11-point, 13-rebound double-double (third this season) which included a career-high seven assists and five steals.
Air Force (6-4, 0-0 MW) led the game in free throws made (11), rebounds (39), steals (14), points from turnovers (17), second-chance points (11) and fast-break points (17).
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and ranks third in the nation in offensive rebounding (45.1) The junior also ranks second in the league in total rebounding (8.9, 55th nationally) and third in steals per game (2.5) .
McNabb has scored three double-doubles to date. She is averaging 8.3 points per contest while shooting a team-best .516 from the field.
All-Time Versus the Aggies:
Air Force is 16-16 all time against Utah State. The Falcons sport nine consecutive wins over the Aggies - A streak which started in the 2021-22 season.
