The Falcons take the fight to New England as they face off against Boston University on Saturday, February 22. Action at Nickerson Field is slated for noon ET. The game marks the third meeting between the teams and first time playing since 2018. Boston U has not lost to Air Force.

In two meetings, BU has outscored Air Force 23-15, winning the first meeting, 15-9 (3/3/2018), at USAFA, and the last meeting, 8-6 (3/4/2017), in Boston.
A Look at the Terriers
Off to a perfect start in 2025, Boston U has taken down Siena (9-7), Monmouth (15-6), and Brown (8-7) under the guidance of head coach Ryan Polley in his 11th season at the helm. Polley coached BU to its second Patriot League title game appearance in three years during the 2024 campaign. Six Terriers earned All-Patriot League and All-New England honors, with four of those players - Jake Cates, Roy Meyer, Patrick Morrison and Louis Perfetto - also garnering All-America accolades.
The four All-Americans from the 2024 said their goodbyes as they reached maximum eligibility, leaving the Terriers in the hands of Jimmy Kohr (11 g, 2a), Timothy Shannehan (6g, 7a), and Jimmy O'Connel (5g, 6a) who lead the Terrier offense so far this season. Defensemen Matt Freeman and Connor Kehm are leading the defense with nine CTOs each while combining for 23 ground balls.
In goal, Will Barnes has all three starts, brandishing a 6.02 GAA and .622 save percentage. At the center dot, Matthew Fritz (11-25, .440) and Madden Murphy (11-20, .550) are splitting time.
Last Weekend
A late rally came up short as Air Force dropped a 17-11 non-conference game against Ohio State, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 15), at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. Junior attack man Caelan Driggs tied his career best mark with five goals. He notched his trick in the first half. Driggs leads AF with eight goals this season. Wes Peene recorded his first hat trick this season, scoring three goals in the final 17:33 of regulation. Peene has five goals on the campaign. Team captain Josh Yago dished three assists and scored a goal marking his third straight game with multiple assists and at least one goal. Yago leads the team with 11 points. Air Force put up 11 goals and 19 points for the most single-game goals/points scored this season. The11 goals is the most put up against Ohio State since 2014. Senior faceoff man Daniel Haimes won the day at the faceoff dot, winning 11-17 attempts and helping the Falcons to 17-32 total faceoff wins. His 11 faceoff wins ties his season best.

Air Force returns to the home turf for a pair of games next weekend. The Falcons will host Quinnipiac in non-conference action, Friday (Feb.28), and welcome Marist to USAFA for a non-conference meeting on Sunday (Mar. 2). Action at Falcon Stadium is slated for noon on both days.
