COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., - Dylan Rogers brings home the first Mountain West weekly award for the Falcons in the 2025 season, earning Pitcher of the Week, as released by officials on Monday afternoon.
On the mound this week, the right-handed pitcher took one start in game one against Navy, on Friday, February 21. Over the course of 7.0 innings, the C1C tied his career-high nine strikeouts, issued no walks, and allowed two unearned runs off five hits to propel the Falcons to their first victory of the season, 3-2.
Rogers produced three up, three down innings in the bottom of the first, fifth, and seventh frames. Fielding wise, he marked one put out and one assist.
Overall, the McKinney, TX., native has earned two starting slots and tallied 11 strikeouts and just one issued walk across 11.0 innings pitched, for an ERA of 4.91.
Air Force baseball is set to open play at home against Northern Colorado on Tuesday Feb. 25, with first pitch slated for 2 p.m.
