Air Force Fencing Competes At Beguinet Classic

Air Force women's fencing completed competition at the Beguinet Classic, hosted by Duke University, Saturday at Wilson Recreation Center Gymnasium in Durham, NC.
Air Force faced #11 Temple, NYU, Johns Hopkins, #15 MIT and North Carolina.
Mira Vestel led the Falcons with nine victories on the day in women's saber. Vestel posted winning records against Temple, JHU and a perfect 3-0 run against MIT.
Madi Converse followed with eight wins- in women's foil. Converse had winning records against NYU, JHU and MIT.
Ellie Kim led the epee group with seven wins, including a 3-0 record against NYU. Also posting seven wins was Audrey Baker in saber.
The Falcons return to action tomorrow with the men's team competing at the Miller Invitational, hosted by the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, NC.
