Patrick Hoopes Places Fourth at Antalya World Cup

ANTALYA, Turkey -- Air Force senior Patrick Hoopes, representing Team USA in his second international assignment of the year, placed fourth on the pommel horse at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus Word Cup in Antalya, Turkey, on Saturday, March 22.
Hoopes scored a 14.200 during the event finals to tie Jordan's Ahmad Abu Al Soud for the third-highest score of the night, but ultimately placed fourth under tie-breaking procedures. The senior also accounted for the third-highest score during qualifying on Thursday, March 20, when he registered a 14.333.
The Falcons return to team competition next weekend, when they travel to Annapolis, Md., for the 2025 USAG Collegiate Nationals. The two-day event will feature the team finals at 4:00 p.m. (ET) on Friday, March 28, and the event finals at 2:00 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, March 29.
