Air Force Trio Named to MPSF All-Academic Team

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Three members of the Air Force men's gymnastics team were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's All-Academic Team this morning (April 11).
Senior Charlie Miles (computer science major) was named an all-academic scholar-athlete for the third-straight year, while junior Jack Matlock (civil engineering) earned his second-straight selection and classmate Denis Irimiea (cyber science) picked up his first.
A total of 29 MPSF gymnasts received academic honors for the 2025 season. To be considered a MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.0 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically, completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, and participate in at last 50-percent of the team's meets.
