
Air Force Baseball's Alex Adams Named to 2025 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List

OVERLAND PARK, Kans., - Freshman infielder Alex Adams was named to the 2025 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List, as released by College Baseball Foundation officials on Friday afternoon.
The nation's top 100 shortstops are featured on the watch list that is released in honor of former Texas Tech shortstop Brooks Wallace, who played for the Red Raiders from 1977 to 1980. Wallace died of leukemia at the age of 27.
So far this season, Adams has been a vital piece of Air Force's lineup and defensive action. The Woodstock, Ga., native has served as the leadoff man, batting .305 and slugging .390. He has recorded ten extra base hits for 22 RBIs and has stolen a team-high 13 bases, while being one of two Falcons to start all 38 games of 2025.
In the field, Adams began the season at shortstop but has also made an impact at third base. He has tallied 100 put outs, 63 assists, and contributed to 13 double plays. Against Washington State, Adams notched a season-high 11 put outs, while recording a season-high five assists at New Mexico.
