COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After a stellar showing in this season's Mountain West Championship, the Air Force Women's Tennis team left its mark on the 2025 All-Tournament list, as the league office named doubles pairs Nadia Kojonroj/Arianna Van Houweling and Shivaani Selvan/Sofia Mavor as honorees on Thursday afternoon.
The postseason awards mark career firsts for freshmen Selvan/Mavor; Van Houweling/Kojonroj, having earned All-Mountain West postseason honors for this season, both secure their second career superlatives.
Both pairs combined for a 5-1 record in postseason play this year, leading Air Force in three doubles points earned in as many matches. Selvan/Mavor went 3-0 as a duo in tournament play, closing out 2025 at 9-4 with six-consecutive wins; Van Houweling/Kojonroj finished at 9-5 with wins in two of their final three.
The Falcons closed their 2025 dual season having earned nine-straight doubles points and 10 of twelve against Mountain West opponents, while combining for a 41-22 (.651) record in doubles play. Seven-seeded Air Force knocked off No. 10 New Mexico (4-0) and No. 2 Nevada (ranked 69th nationally) on the way to a semifinal berth in the MW tournament this season. Despite falling to UNLV in the semis, Van Houweling/Kojonroj clinched the doubles point in a tight 8-6 tiebreak set, after Selvan/Mavor dominated line three for a 6-1 win of their own to keep the Falcons' streak alive to the end.
Since the start of MW naming an all-tournament team in 2024, the accolades awarded this season represent the first two named to Air Force players in program history.
