Alec Fritzinger Earns CSC Men’s Tennis Academic All-District Honor

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Alec Fritzinger of Air Force men's tennis was named to the 2025 Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. The award, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Fritzinger, a sophomore, had a standout season for the Falcons, posting 23 total wins on the season, including eight dual singles wins, which ranked third on the team. Fritzinger also had a strong fall for the Falcons, winning his singles draw at the ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains, becoming one of two Falcons to win a singles draw at the Bedford for the first time in program history.

As a freshman last season, Fritzinger earned Mountain West Academic and ITA All-Academic honors.

Criteria for nomination:
- Must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
- Must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Must be in the lineup for 70 percent of institution's days of competition (Tennis specific criteria).
