Falcons Conclude Action at NCAA West Prelim

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Air Force track and field team wrapped up four days of competition in College Station, Texas, this afternoon (May 31), as freshman high jumper Morgan Glaser placed within the top half of the regional field at the NCAA West Preliminary at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Glaser, competing in her first NCAA Championship event, recorded a clearance of 1.76 meters (5'9¼") to tie for 24th in the 48-athlete high jump field. The freshman opened the competition with a first attempt clearance of 1.71 meters (5'7¼"), before surpassing the 1.76-meter (5'9¼") crossbar on her second attempt. That attempt, her which equaled her second highest of the outdoor season, was tied for the third-best clearance of the day in the overall field.
The collegiate season will come to a close on Jun 11-14, when junior Texas Tanner (discus throw, hammer throw) and freshman Brayden Richards (decathlon) travel to Eugene. Ore., for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
