U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force Women's Basketball Class of 2029 represents one of the program's strongest in years, as head coach Stacy McIntyre and company round out the Falcons' roster ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Air Force's five newcomers bring to the bench an abundance of shooting, some length and a collective defensive mindset tailor-made for the Falcons' style of play:
Kori Rainwater
F | | 6'1" | Tahlequah, OK | Tahlequah HS (USAFA Prep):
Kori Rainwater, one of three freshmen entering the Air Force program from the USAFA Prep School, was a centerpiece of the Huskies' unblemished 21-0 run in 2024-25. Ranked 25th in the state of Oklahoma as a senior, forward Rainwater led Tahlequah HS to a 68-12 record in all four seasons, including a combined 46-8 showing as an upperclassman while gathering both the program's career rebounds and block records. The 2023 Metro Lakes Conference Player of the Year and 2024 District 5A-3 Player of the Year brings creative post play, strong interior defense and a nose for gathering rebounds that should prove valuable for the Falcons in 2025-26 and beyond. Her senior season, Rainwater additionally competed in track and field, qualifying for state finals in discus.
Eva Love
G | 5'9" | Albuquerque, N.M. | La Cueva HS (USAFA Prep):
Breakout La Cueva HS guard Eva Love was a top 10 recruit out of New Mexico, finishing ranked seventh in the state as a senior after averaging 16.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in 2023-24. Love racked up four double-doubles in her senior season and nine 20-plus point games, all resulting in La Cueva wins. The La Cueva Bears went 58-29 during Love's scholastic playing career, finishing second or better in 5A District 2 three times while winning the district her sophomore season. Love can score on the floor from a variety of locations and can force takeaways in droves, averaging 3.6 steals as a senior and 2.8 for her career. In the prep school's 21-0 run in 2024-25, Love was the Huskies' leading scorer at 16 points per game.
Anna (AJ) Mannering
G | 5'8" | Peyton HS | Peyton, CO (USAFA Prep)
As a senior, local newcomer and Peyton HS alumna AJ Mannering was one of the highest scoring players in the country while leading the state of Colorado in points per game (32.3), three-pointers made (104) and steals (213) in her senior season. With Mannering, Peyton went 61-17 overall and 7-3 in playoff games, including a runner-up finish in the CHSAA 3A State Tournament her senior year. In a monstrous career-defining performance, Mannering put up a 51-point, 12-assist, 15-steal triple-double, powering Peyton in a 100-24 win over Rye HS (Feb. 12, 2024). Complimenting an advanced set of scoring abilities is Mannering's comfort from three-point range, who shot 36 percent from three as a senior. Mannering was just as potent on the defensive end during her high school career, averaging 8.5 steals per game as a senior and 6.8 for her career. While at the prep school, Mannering averaged 13 points and eight rebounds per contest.
Bhret Clay
G | 5'7" | Hobbs, N.M. | Hobbs HS
Bhret Clay is a two-way force, sporting strong shooting abilities and the capability to disrupt on the defensive side. Her knack for creating offense in transition falls in line with the Falcons' desire to generate points from turnovers. Clay helped lead led New Mexico 5A powerhouse Hobbs HS to an impressive 106-17 record from 2021-25, including a 23-1 showing in 5A District 4 across all four seasons. The Hobbs Eagles earned a state title in Clay's sophomore season and a pair of runner-up finishes as a freshman and senior.
Madelyn (Maddy) Jensen
G | 5'7" | Brookfield, Wisconsin | Brookfield Central HS
Greater Metro First-Team All-Conference honoree Maddie Jensen brings point guard experience to the Falcons roster. As a senior, Jensen was a semifinalist for the Wisconsin Sports Network's (WSN) top point guard in 2024-25. Jensen is a threat as a spot three-point shooter, will hunt down rebounds and is solid in generating offense off of her own steals. Jensen graduated from Brookfield Central HS with a 4.3 GPA and sports deep familial ties to the Academy, with both parents having graduated from USAFA with service under their belts. Her sister, Luci, currently plays basketball at Notre Dame.
