Seventh Annual Bedford Cup Headlines Women’s Tennis 2025-26 Fall

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The return of cadets to the Academy for the 2025-26 academic year also rings in the return of Air Force intercollegiate athletics. As fall programs begin their return to competition, so too does Air Force Women's Tennis, as the Falcons gear up for the start of their fall season and the long road toward the 2026 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship.
The Falcons' 2025-26 fall slate includes four tournaments, highlighted by their hosting of the seventh annual ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains, Sept. 19-21, at the Cadet Gym. This year's field of competitors is comprised of 10 teams including two standing conference champion programs and 16 returning all-conference competitors from the previous season. Fans will also get a first look at an exciting 2025-26 Air Force roster and one of the highest-touted freshman classes in Air Force's history.
Air Force opens their fall season, Sept. 12-14, at Colorado State's Jon Messick Invitational, marking the Falcons' second appearance at the event in as many seasons.
As individual competitors, the Falcons will get a chance to qualify for NCAA Fall Regionals, held at BYU starting on Nov. 6. Select singles competitors and doubles pairings will take on the Mountain West Fall Qualifier, held in Las Vegas Oct. 2-6 with a chance to advance into the regional bracket.
Air Force closes its fall stretch on the banks of the Potomac, taking on Army and Navy in the All-Academy Challenge at the prestigious Army and Navy Club in Washington D.C., Oct. 10-12.
Air Force's dual season opens on January 16th with opponents /dates/times TBA.
