Air Force at a Glance:
Air Force, sitting at 1-5, has undertaken a monumental challenge to open its 2026 dual season. The Falcons opened on a three-match, Power Four road trip which included a stop at national runner-up, No. 2 Texas A&M. Thereafter, the Falcons split results on a two-match stop in Flagstaff, Ariz., downing New Mexico State (4-1) before dropping a 5-2 decision to host NAU. In its most recent test, Air Force, taking on Denver on the Pioneers' courts, fell 4-0 to the longstanding Summit League champs.
As a team, Air Force currently sits at 6-22 in singles play and 4-11 in doubles.
About College MatchDay:
College MatchDay, the USTA's popular neutral-site college tennis showcase event, was created in 2013 to showcase some of the best college tennis teams and campuses the sport has to offer. In 2017 with the opening of the National Campus and its Collegiate Center in Orlando, College MatchDay now has a permanent home.
This year, Air Force makes its sixth appearance at the event which serves as a centerpiece of its Military Appreciation Day. Events include a free kid's clinic, family activities, and a pre-match flyover ahead of the start of competition.
Looking Ahead:
Air Force caps a nine-match road stint to open the spring season in Norman, Okla. facing OU and Arkansas on Feb. 22. The Falcons make their 2026 home debut on Feb. 27, hosting North Florida at Cadet East Gym.
