Patrick Hoopes Retains Spot on National Team, Earns International Assignments

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Air Force assistant coach 2Lt Patrick Hoopes, a two-time NCAA champion and reigning World bronze medalist on the pommel horse, retained his spot on the U.S. Senior National Team last night, as USA Gymnastics announced its first 12 selections at the conclusion of Winter Cup in Louisville.
Hoopes, who automatically kept his place on the national team after representing Team USA at the 2025 World Championships, also received his first international assignments for the upcoming season, including the FIG World Cup events in Antalya (March 12-15) and Cairo (April 3-6).
