Head Coach Evan Urbina recapping the match:
"Today was a total team effort. GCU is well coached and very tough, and they've won a lot this year. We've been playing well this week, and knew we needed to compete until the end, and that's exactly what Phil did. He saved a few match points and played within himself and aggressive enough in some key moments to put pressure on his opponent. Doubles was massive, and we just stayed tough and resilient from the start. Tyler getting us on the board in straight sets was awesome. He has been playing great tennis this entire week. Jack served out his match with one of his best service games I've seen! I know he enjoyed being back in his home state. Thrilled for the team to get another ranked win this year, especially on the road. Looking forward to home conference matches on Friday and Sunday. Go Falcons!"
Air Force returns to action Friday, March 27 hosting #64 at Boise State.
