Huntington led Falcons in the final round in Iowa

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo, -- Junior Eli Huntington led the Air Force golf team in the final round of the Iowa Hawkeye Invitational, Tuesday, April 21, at the Bluetop Ridge Golf Course in Riverside, Iowa.
Huntington shot a 74 (+2) in the final round, that included a four-under 32 on the front side. Huntington was the top Falcon over the 54-hole tournament, placing 34th with a 224 (+8).
Junior Carson Baker and senior Brooks Morrell each shot 75 (+3) in the final round. Baker finished the tournament at 225 while Morrell finished at 233. Senior Ted Davenport finished the three-round tournament at 232 and freshman Ben Zeiler finished at 235.
Iowa, the host school, won the tournament with an 851 (-13). Southern Illinois was second at 857 (-7) and DePaul was third 866 (+2). Air Force finished 12th at 906.
Air Force will conclude the regular season at the Mountain West Championships, May 3-5, at the Omni Tucson National Course in Tucson, Ariz.
