GAME 10

ASUN Conference Game
12 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 4
Owsley B. Frazier Stadium | Louisville, Ky.
A Brief History
Air Force is 16-4 against the Knights all-time and 5-3 when playing in Kentucky. AF has won 11 of the last 12 meetings.
Last time they met, the Falcons tripled up the Knights, 18-6. Three Falcons notched hat tricks in the offensive onslaught led by Caelan Driggs' four goals. Ryan Stadelmaier put up three goals and two assists for a career-best five points. The Air Force defense held the Knights scoreless for two quarters (1st, 3rd) and put a lid on the league's leading scorer, John Allie, who averaged five goals per game. Allie finished with two, both in the fourth quarter.
A Look at the Knights
Bellarmine takes the field under the command of head coach Andrew Whitley in his seventh season at the helm.
Knights' standout John Allie is on a tear in his senior campaign— with 57 points via 37 goals and 20 assists this season, Allie has eight hat tricks and has scored a goal in all games but one in 2026. He had a season best seven-point game at Mercyhurst (4g, 3a) and averages 4.75 points per game. Teammate Ezra Moore, seventh in the NCAA in assists per game (2.50) has 49 points on 30 assists and 19 goals.
Nolan Hudnut is likely to get the start in goal. He has a .514 save percentage and a 14.89 GAA.
Turning it Around
Air Force snapped a six-game losing streak with an overtime win at Providence. Historically, at least since joining the ASUN Conference, the Falcons tend to turn the season around in conference play. Last season, AF turned a 2-6 non-conference schedule to an ASUN Tournament title and NCAA Championship appearance. In 2024, the Falcons were 1-4 in the non-conference schedule and made it to the ASUN Tournament semifinals.
Last Time Out
Falcon lacrosse dropped a 16-10 loss to Jacksonville in the ASUN Conference opener at Falcon Stadium. The Falcons struggled to find an offensive rhythm in the first half, scoring just one goal in the first quarter and two more in the second quarter. JU put up 12 goals in the first half.
Air Force got traction in the second half but had a tall hill to climb. AF held the Dolphins to just four second-half goals while scoring seven of their own. Despite the rally, the trench was too deep to climb out of.
Caelan Driggs Aims for All-Time Goals Record
Senior attacker Caelan Driggs scored his 116th career goal last weekend. Driggs is now second in the all-time goals category. Mike Crampton (2011-14) holds the record with 127 to his credit. Driggs also has 142 career points, ranking seventh all-time.
Cunningham Moves into the Record Book
C1C Cole Cunningham, a groundball vacuum, has moved into the all-time top 10 ground balls leaders. Cunningham, with 43 this season and 173 career ground balls, is now seventh most. His 85 ground balls last season were enough for sixth in single-season ground balls.
Fantastic Freshman
C4C attacker Christian Schweiger is a force to be reckoned with heading into conference play. A native of Lebanon, New Jersey, Schweiger leads the Falcons with 29 points via 17 goals and 12 assists so far this season. He has four hat tricks in six appearances, including three-goal games against No. 5 Duke and No. 10 Ohio State.
A Look Ahead
Air Force travels to Charlotte, North Carolina, to take on Queens in ASUN Conference action. Faceoff at Queens Sports Complex is scheduled for noon ET.
