Zeiler leads Falcons on second straight day at Folds of Honor

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Sophomore Ben Zeiler led the Air Force golf team for the second straight day at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the American Dunes Golf Course in Grand Haven, Mich.

In the second round, Zeiler shot a two-over 73 and is tied for 34^th overall at 145 (+3) after 36 holes. Starting on the back, Zeiler made two of his three birdies on the back for a 35 (-1). Senior Eli Huntington shot 74 (+3) in the second round and sits in 46^th place at 147 (+5). In the second round, seniors Carson Baker and Grant Samuelson each shot 78 and freshman Daniel Chazen shot 80.

Air Force shot a 303 in the second round and is in 13^th place at 599, three shots behind Army and 17 strokes ahead of Navy.

Georgia Tech continues to lead the field with a 556. Notre Dame and 15^th-ranked Texas are tied for second at 557 and 18^th-ranked Alabama is fourth at 563.

The final round of the fifth annual Folds of Honor Collegiate is Wednesday, Sept. 9, starting at noon ET.
