2011: NCBA All-American at 139 pounds...finished second at the NCBA National Championships...NCAA regional champion...Wing Open champion at 139 pounds...earned the team[apos]s Boxer of the Week award following the NCBA West Region Championships...collected one of three victories for the Falcons at Army...posted a 10-2 record...2010: Wing Open finalist at 139 pounds...finished the season with a 2-2 record...both wins were by referee stopped contests in the third round...earned the team[apos]s Boxer of the Week award following a victory at the 155-pound weight class during the Jan. 15 round of Friday Night Fights...claimed a NCBA victory over Lock Haven[apos]s Jaytron Charles at 140 pounds during the Washington Invitational...2009: Wing Open champion at 139 pounds...one of seven freshmen to compete in the Wing Open finals...did not compete at the regional or national meets...posted a 4-1 record on the season...went 4-0 against fellow cadets...first win came during the Nov. 14 round of Friday Night Fights.

PERSONAL: Full name is Daniel Lee Christion Starr...goes by Dan...son of Lee and Andrea Starr...father is a retired Marine CW03...is an only child and 'yes, I am a momma[apos]s boy'...nickname is 'Sonshine'...majoring in management...future plans include attending pilot training...served as Honor Officer...has also served as Summer Seminar Superintendent and Operation NCO...attended the Academy[apos]s Prep School...hobbies include working out, yoga, golfing, shooting, reading, sleeping and eating...also enjoys having a good time, meeting people and travelling...has been to Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Jamaica, Japan, South Korea and the Bahamas...spent the summer completing powered flight and 'got some serious stick time flying a couple of `high vis[apos] sorties and what not'...member of Cadet Squadron 32.
