The AF Hockey Summer Showcase is designed for competitive hockey players who want to test themselves against quality competition and gain exposure in an advanced hockey environment.
Players compete in structured games while receiving opportunities to be evaluated by experienced hockey coaches and scouts.
The Showcase is separate from the traditional Air Force Hockey Camp. The focus is competition, evaluation, exposure and helping players better understand pathways to higher levels of hockey.

Each registered participant is guaranteed three Showcase games during the main Friday and Saturday competition schedule.

National Competition
Compete with motivated players from Colorado and across the country in a high-level Showcase environment.

Compete at Cadet Ice Arena and experience the home environment of NCAA Division I Air Force Hockey.
How the Showcase Works
The three-day Showcase provides meaningful competitive opportunities while giving coaches and scouts time to evaluate players in game situations.
Showcase Games
Players are assigned to Showcase teams and compete throughout Friday and Saturday.
Each participant is guaranteed three Showcase games.
The format emphasizes balanced playing opportunities so players have meaningful opportunities to compete and be evaluated.
Final team assignments and game schedules will be distributed prior to the event.
All-Star Competition
Players who distinguish themselves during Friday and Saturday competition may be selected for Sunday All-Star games.
All-Star selections provide standout participants with another opportunity to compete against other top performers from the Showcase.
Selected players will receive All-Star information during the event.

AAA Hockey
Learn more about advanced youth hockey expectations and what players need to continue developing at the AAA level.
Junior Hockey
Gain insight into Junior hockey opportunities and how that pathway can fit into a player's development.
NCAA Hockey
Learn more about collegiate hockey expectations and the development required to compete at the NCAA level.
College Club Hockey
Explore additional collegiate playing opportunities available through competitive college club hockey.
Evaluation
Compete in a game environment where coaches and scouts can evaluate skating, skill, hockey IQ and compete level.
Air Force Hockey
Experience Cadet Ice Arena and learn more about NCAA Division I Air Force Hockey at the United States Air Force Academy.
Rosters & Playing Opportunities
Showcase Teams
Players are assigned to Showcase teams prior to competition.
Roster sizes are designed to provide players with consistent playing opportunities while maintaining a competitive game environment.
Team placement consideration may be given to players traveling or carpooling together when identified during registration.
Goalie Opportunities
Goaltenders receive designated playing opportunities during Showcase competition.
Goalie registration may be limited based on available roster spots and may fill before skater registration.
A goalie waitlist may be utilized once available positions are filled.
Hockey Equipment
Complete Protective Equipment Required
Players are responsible for bringing complete hockey equipment appropriate for competitive game play.
Equipment should include skates, hockey pants, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, protective equipment, hockey sticks and a certified hockey helmet with a full facemask.
Goaltenders should bring all required position-specific equipment.
Showcase-specific jersey and equipment information will be provided to registered participants prior to June 25.
Commuter Showcase
The AF Hockey Summer Showcase is separate from the residential Air Force Sports Camps program.
No Campus Housing
The Hockey Showcase is a commuter-only event.
Air Force Academy dormitory housing and AF Sports Camps boarder accommodations are not included in the $395 Showcase registration fee.
Players and families are responsible for arranging their own lodging and local transportation.
Showcase Check-In
Players will receive final team assignments, check-in instructions and game schedules prior to the Showcase.
Participants should plan to arrive well before their first scheduled game to complete check-in, receive event materials and prepare for competition.
Specific arrival information will be distributed to registered participants before the event.
