Cadet Physical Education Leadership Camp
Experience Leadership at the Academy
The Cadet Physical Education Leadership Camp provides young people with an opportunity to experience leadership development in the unique environment of the United States Air Force Academy.
Campers participate in physical and leadership-based activities that challenge them to communicate, work as a team, make decisions and respond positively when facing difficult situations.
The goal is not simply physical performance. Campers are challenged to develop confidence, discipline, persistence, teamwork and the leadership habits needed to positively influence those around them.
Days of Leadership
Two focused days give campers an opportunity to challenge themselves physically and mentally while experiencing leadership development at the United States Air Force Academy.
The Leadership Experience
The Cadet PE Leadership Camp combines physical challenge with lessons in teamwork, communication and personal leadership.
Challenge Yourself
Campers take part in physical activities and team challenges designed to move them outside of their comfort zone in a positive environment.
Activities encourage persistence, discipline, confidence and the ability to continue performing when faced with adversity.
The physical component gives campers opportunities to learn more about themselves while working toward common team objectives.
Lead the Team
Leadership activities challenge campers to communicate clearly, make decisions, solve problems and work effectively with others.
Campers experience opportunities to both lead and follow while learning the importance of accountability, teamwork and trust.
The goal is to help campers identify leadership qualities they can continue developing at school, in athletics and within their communities.
