JUNIOR YEAR | 2021: Raced in four meets, including the conference and regional championships…clocked a career-best 6K time of 21:10.4 at the Mountain West Championships (43rd)…placed within the top half of the field at the NCAA Mountain Regional (21:59.9, 64th)…also competed at the Nuttycombe Invitational (22:01.6, 197th) and Bill Dellinger Invitational (22:14.1, 126th)…academic all-conference selection.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2020: Competed in both meets of the pandemic-shortened season…clocked a season-best 6K time of 21:55.1 to finish 11th at the Silver State Challenge…added a time of 22:51.3 at the Mountain West Championships (67th).

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019: Earned the team’s Newcomer of the Year award...competed in five meets, including the conference and regional championships...clocked a personal-best 6K time of 21:11.2 to finish 46th out of 130 runners at the NCAA Mountain Regional...also competed in that distance at the Mountain West Championships (21:15.1, 30th), Bill Dellinger Invitational (21:35.5, 98th) and Nuttycombe Invitational (22:00.8, 191st)...finished fifth in collegiate debut, recording a three-mile time of 18:19.8 at the Air Force Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Big Sky High School...three-time all-state selection in track...finished third in the 800-meter run and fourth in the 1600-meter run at the 2018 state championships...member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished sixth at the 2019 championship meet...nine-time all-conference honoree...named the Most Valuable Mid-Distance Runner three times...also earned the Most Valuable Distance Runner award once...set the school records in the 800-meter and 1600-meter events...finalist for the KPAX Student-Athlete of the Year award, as the BSHS girls’ selection...received the Distinguished Athlete award...12-time letterwinner (four letters each in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track)...eight-time all-state selection (four in cross country, four in track)...earned the Eagle Medallion award, which is given to outstanding seniors...named to the Honor Roll four times.

PERSONAL: Full name is Madison Alyse Edwards…goes by Maddie...daughter of Rob Edwards and Jill Brown...has an identical twin sister...also has a pair of younger twin siblings...majoring in behavioral science...future plans include working in aerospace physiology…has served as Operations Flight NCOIC and Element Leader...named to the Commandant’s List (once), Dean’s List (four times) and Athletic Director’s List (five times)...hobbies include hunting, fishing and hiking...aunt (Deb Davis) and uncle (Jon Davis) both graduated from the Academy in 1988...grandfather served in the Navy…served as a safety medical officer (SMO) during Basic Cadet Training over the summer…also served as cadre during Falcon Sports Camps…member of Cadet Squadron 03.
