WHY USAFA?: 'I chose the Air Force Academy because I knew I wanted to be a pilot, and the Air Force Academy offers the best route for people who want to fly. I also was excited about receiving a free education worth nearly $400,000. Moreover, the Academy offers many opportunities to do things that I otherwise wouldn[apos]t be able to do, such as the Jump program, in which you get to jump out of an airplane with a parachute at an altitude of 4500 feet above the ground.'

JUNIOR (2011): Participated on the parallel bars in four competitions, recording a career-best 13.600 at the Illinois-Chicago Quad on March 6...also competed on the pommel horse in two meets...named to the USA Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete Team...also earned academic honors from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (academic all-conference), Mountain West Conference (scholar-athlete) and College Gymnastics Association (all-America scholar-athlete). SOPHOMORE (2010): Did not see competitive action. FRESHMAN (2009): Did not see competitive action...shared the team[apos]s Hardest Worker Award.
