JUNIOR YEAR | 2019: Competed in four meets, including the conference championships...clocked an 8K time of 24:32.4 to score for the Falcons at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (55th)...also competed in that distance at the Mountain West Championships (career-best 24:29.7, 43rd) and Nuttycombe Invitational (25:25.1, 193rd)...opened the season with a top-10 finish at the Air Force Open...clocked a four-mile time of 21:02.7 to finish ninth at that meet...academic all-conference selection.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2018: Competed in three meets...was the Falcons’ top finisher at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational...posted a personal-best 8K time of 25:43.8 to finish 21st out of 92 runners at that meet...added an 8K time of 25:51.5 to finish 31st out of 154 runners at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open...opened the season with a 5K mark of 16:26.7 at the Wyoming Invitational (45th)...academic all-conference selection.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2017: Ran in three meets...opened the season with a 5K time of 16:29.9 at the Colorado State Invitational (85th)...finished 37th at the Woody Greeno Invitational after posting an 8K time of 27:25.7...added an 8K time of 28:28.6 at the Rocky Mountain Shootout (65th).
HIGH SCHOOL: Prior Lake High School...section and conference champion in cross country as a junior and senior...also finished fourth in the 800-meter run at the state track championships those two years...four-year letterwinner in swimming...state champion in the 200-meter freestyle relay at summer club...graduated with a 4.0 GPA...earned all-state academic honors in track all four years.
PERSONAL: Full name is Colin John Dwyer...nickname is “Brother Dwyer”...son of Daniel and Alyssa Dwyer...has two younger brothers...majoring in geospatial sciences and earning a minor in Arabic...serving as Operations Clerk (Fall 2018)...named to the Superintendent’s List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance...hobbies include running, swimming, lifting, blue-collar work and riding rocks for miles like the pioneers used to...nearly froze to death several times during long runs in the harsh Minnesota wilderness...would like to add that “Coach Cole told me I am definitely the most ‘hoorah’ person on the team”...member of Cadet Squadron 37.
