HIGH SCHOOL: Grace Christian High School…five-time Alaska state champion…won two titles in cross country, while also winning 3200-meter and 1600-meter events on the track…also ran on the 4x800-meter relay that captured a state championship…two-time MVP in cross country…also competed in wrestling, basketball, baseball and cross country skiing…graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

PERSONAL: Full name is David Neguse Sliwinski…son of John and Kellyn Sliwinski…youngest of six children…has two brothers and three sisters…originally from Ethiopia…majoring in mechanical engineering…future plans include becoming a pilot or mechanical engineer…attended the Academy’s Prep School…hobbies include hiking and skiing…member of Cadet Squadron 03.
