SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2023-24: Set the Air Force Sophomore Class Record in the 10,000-meter run during event debut at the Bryan Clay Invitational…clocked a time of 29:22.79 to finish second out of 39 runners in the meet and delete more than eight seconds off a Class Record that had stood since 2011…competed in the 5000-meter run four times…posted an outdoor-best time of 14:08.40 (adjusted for altitude) to finish second at the Doug Max Invitational…placed seventh out of 210 runners at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (14:16.89)…posted an indoor-best time of 14:15.68 to finish fifth out of 50 runners at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener…also recorded a top-five finish at the Windy City Invitational.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2022-23: Competed in three indoor meets…recorded a career-best 3000-meter time of 8:27.35 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston…finished third in the mile during collegiate debut at the Ralph Lindeman Invitational (4:22.53, adjusted for altitude)…did not race during the outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Mountain Vista High School…two-time all-state honoree in cross country…claimed top-10 finishes in the Colorado 5A state meet as a junior (10th) and senior (fifth)…led MVHS to back-to-back state titles in cross country (2020, 2021)…finished third in the 3200-meter run at the Colorado 5A Championships as a senior…earned a top-10 finish in that event as a junior (ninth).

PERSONAL: Full name is Jayden Timothy Nats…nickname is Nuts…son of Tim and Susan Nats…has a twin brother, Kyler…also has two older siblings – Jamie, a former member of the swim team at Boise State, and Kaitlin, a 2022 Academy graduate and former member of the swim team at Air Force…majoring in systems engineering…hobbies include the pogo stick…remained in Colorado over the summer, completing Ops at Peterson SFB and serving as cadre for the Transition and Concussion Flight during Basic Cadet Training,…member of Cadet Squadron 19.
