Bio
JUNIOR (2011): Broke the 2002 Academy record in the 400-meter hurdles (62.50) at the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational...was the event runner-up at the New Mexico meet...earned the team[apos]s Track Athlete of the Week award after that meet...also selected as the Air Force Athlete of the Week following that competition...ranked second on the program[apos]s all-time list in that event...also finished third in the hurdles at the Front Range Classic (63:29)...ran the leadoff leg of the outdoor 4x400-meter relay that clocked the fourth-fastest time in Academy history (3:50.89) at the Mountain West Conference Championships...was a member of the relay team that won the Jack Christiansen Invitational and finished second at the Front Range Classic...was a member of the indoor 4x400-meter relay team that finished second (4:00.34) at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...clocked a career-best 400-meter time of 60.02 during the indoor season at the MWC Championships...finished fifth in the 600-meter run (1:41.16) at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational.
SOPHOMORE (2010): Finished third in the 400-meter hurdles (66.75) at the Military Championships...clocked a career-best time in that event of 64.40 at the Front Range Classic...competed in the 400-meter hurdles at the Mountain West Conference Championships (65.48, 11th)...competed on three 4x400-meter relay teams...competed in the 400-meter dash during the indoor season...ranked fourth on the team with a career-best 60.29 at the conference championships....member of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed second (4:14.82) at the Robert Shine Invitational.
FRESHMAN (2009): Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Falcon High School...runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles at the 2007 Colorado 4A state meet...recorded a personal-best time of 44.84 at that meet...attended the Air Force Academy Prep School during the 2007-08 academic year.
PERSONAL: Majoring in basic sciences...future plans include working in the acquisitions field...hobbies include hiking, shopping and skiing...served as Group Athletic NCO and Community Service Representative...spent the summer completing Operation Air Force at Shaw AFB, S.C., and working as an Element Leader during the second session of Basic Cadet Training...member of Cadet Squadron 25.
