Second Lieutenant Ryan Bohdel will serve as a military assistant coach for the Air Force women's gymnastics team this season. Bohdel, who graduated from the Academy in 2014, will assist the program in its day-to-day operations.
As a senior, Bohdel served as the Cadet-in-Charge of Wing Reconditioning and worked closely with athletic department staff to develop and administer workouts to over 100 cadets that were athletically deficient. He also spent his junior year as the Wing Athletics NCO, working with the intramurals division as the liaison between the Cadet Wing and athletic department.
A three-time member of the Air Force Academy's PFT "500 Club", Bohdel graduated with a degree in computer engineering. He will travel to Sheppard AFB, Texas, to begin pilot training in March 2015.
